Heros
Sorry Houston... You Have A Problem

Well it would appear the President Bush is going to nuke Houston on Easter(link).
Ken Welch's proof; he played several speeches backwards.
Ken, you are not Fox Mulder, that was TV and just like Wookies, Dungeons and Dragons and the Spiderman they are all make believe.
I will say, it would be an excelent way for the Illuminati to destroy the Halliburton Corperate headquarters and destroy the evidence that they engineered the war in Iraq and the flooding of New Orleans' 9th Ward (link). Wait, that makes too much sense... it's all true.
Cindy and the Anti War Protest?
Three questions:
- Can I book the puppets for my sons birthday party?
- Were animals harmed in the making of the sandwich? Were the ingrediants organic?
- Why does Casey Sheehan's grave have no marker (link)?
It is refreshing to see that activism is alive(?) and well in the nations capitol.

Sacramento School's "Day of Silence" Resolution Vote

"to recognize the silencing of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning people due to discrimination everyday in our society." (link)
Where does one even begin on this...
First let me say this; if you are lesbian, gay or transgender--I don't care. I know that may seem a bit harsh but I am tired of having your gender preference forced on me (and my family). I am not only in favor of a day of silence I am in favor of your continued silence.
I am begging you to just shut up!
In order for tolerance to be cultivated and embraced we must eliminate this heterophobia.
What you do in your private life is your business. Stop making it mine.
If I wanted to have a day of silence, "to recognize the silencing of Christian prayer in the classroom". I would be immediately labeled as a fundamentalist nut--bag and dismissed. Yet protests like this are allowed to continue.
Should homosexuals be discriminated against in our society? Clearly the answer is no. Neither should homosexuality be forced upon those who quietly/ philosophically disagree with it.

Teacher charged with raping student 28 times
I'm pretty sure this goes in the category of "Bad Career Moves".(link)
How does this make the things to do this week list?
Week of 3/14:
- Get oil in car changed
- Pay phone bill
- Have sex with student 28 times
- Pick up cat food
- Set VCR to record American Idol
What kind of 13 year old boy doesn't tell? Do you think she is sitting in the hole tonight thinking, "Dang, I wouldn't be here if I hadn't lost count at 23"?
At least, being an educator first, she asked a 12 year old to watch (link).
Indian director hopes to cast Paris Hilton as Mother Teresa
I can already hear the Oscar Buzz."Her features resemble Mother Teresa," director T. Rajeevnath told AFP from the southwestern coastal state of Kerala. (link)
I am no expert but this has bad idea written all over it

Mayor of Tall ‘Afar, Ninewa, Iraq
In the Name of God the Compassionate and Merciful
To the Courageous Men and Women of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who have changed the city of Tall’ Afar from a ghost town, in which terrorists spread death and destruction, to a secure city flourishing with life.
To the lion-hearts who liberated our city from the grasp of terrorists who were beheading men, women and children in the streets for many months.
To those who spread smiles on the faces of our children, and gave us restored hope, through their personal sacrifice and brave fighting, and gave new life to the city after hopelessness darkened our days, and stole our confidence in our ability to reestablish our city.
Our city was the main base of operations for Abu Mousab Al Zarqawi. The city was completely held hostage in the hands of his henchmen. Our schools, governmental services, businesses and offices were closed. Our streets were silent, and no one dared to walk them. Our people were barricaded in their homes out of fear; death awaited them around every corner. Terrorists occupied and controlled the only hospital in the city. Their savagery reached such a level that they stuffed the corpses of children with explosives and tossed them into the streets in order to kill grieving parents attempting to retrieve the bodies of their young. This was the situation of our city until God prepared and delivered unto them the courageous soldiers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who liberated this city, ridding it of Zarqawi’s followers after harsh fighting, killing many terrorists, and forcing the remaining butchers to flee the city like rats to the surrounding areas, where the bravery of other 3d ACR soldiers in Sinjar, Rabiah, Zumar and Avgani finally destroyed them.
I have met many soldiers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment; they are not only courageous men and women, but avenging angels sent by The God Himself to fight the evil of terrorism.
The leaders of this Regiment; COL McMaster, COL Armstrong, LTC Hickey, LTC Gibson, and LTC Reilly embody courage, strength, vision and wisdom. Officers and soldiers alike bristle with the confidence and character of knights in a bygone era. The mission they have accomplished, by means of a unique military operation, stands among the finest military feats to date in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and truly deserves to be studied in military science. This military operation was clean, with little collateral damage, despite the ferocity of the enemy. With the skill and precision of surgeons they dealt with the terrorist cancers in the city without causing unnecessary damage.
God bless this brave Regiment; God bless the families who dedicated these brave men and women. From the bottom of our hearts we thank the families. They have given us something we will never forget. To the families of those who have given their holy blood for our land, we all bow to you in reverence and to the souls of your loved ones. Their sacrifice was not in vain. They are not dead, but alive, and their souls hovering around us every second of every minute. They will never be forgotten for giving their precious lives. They have sacrificed that which is most valuable. We see them in the smile of every child, and in every flower growing in this land. Let America, their families, and the world be proud of their sacrifice for humanity and life.
Finally, no matter how much I write or speak about this brave Regiment, I haven’t the words to describe the courage of its officers and soldiers. I pray to God to grant happiness and health to these legendary heroes and their brave families.
NAJIM ABDULLAH ABID AL-JIBOURI
Mayor of Tall ‘Afar, Ninewa, Iraq
My sister is assigned to the 3rd ACR (link). She has just finished her second tour of Iraq (receiving her second Bronze Star). The above letter was sent to the unit from the mayor of Tall ‘Afar as they prepared to come home. This is just the thing Cindy Sheehan, Sean Penn and Michael Berg don't want you to know about. It might cause their spotlight to dim.
McKinney Admits Misusing Taxpayer Money
Apparently Congresswoman McKinney still doesn't get it. If roughing up a Capitol Police officer isn't enough, now she is misusing taxpayer dollars (link). What will her excuse be this time? Oppression of the white airline owners to infringe on the civil rights of black America? Or, how about this... a conspiracy by the White House to discredit her opposition to the war in Iraq. Yeah, that just might work...
I can hardly wait!
'Basic' Sharon sinks like stone

Since the movie "thing" isn't exactly working out (link) maybe Sharon can find a job working in education (link).
Three Men Charged in 'Dungeon' Castration

Who knew that "castration without malice" was a felony? (link)
"It's extremely bizarre," District Attorney Michael Bonfoey said in a telephone interview. "It's incredible the amount of ways that people can find to run afoul of the law."
Dad Sues Coach For Calling Player 2-Year-Old
Cynthia McKinney: D-Georgia

If Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte don't give you credibility then what does.
"Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, like thousands of average Americans across this country, is, too, a victim of the excessive use of force by law enforcement officials because of how she looks and the color of her skin," (link)
Noooo Mr. Myart, Congresswoman McKinney is a victim of being stooopid. Like so many others she feels the rules do not apply to her. And when she gets caught she immediately says it is because she is black.
"Unfortunately, the Police Officer did not recognize me as a Member of Congress and a confrontation ensued. I did not have on my Congressional pin" (link)
Perhaps if she had been wearing the required identification this would not happened. Maybe… just maybe, had she not tried to take a poke at the Capitol Police officer this would not have happened. (link)
But good judgement is not something Congresswoman McKinney has shown in the past. (link)
